It’s no secret — I support Barack Obama. Cody ChesnuTT’s “Afrobama” is a great throwback to 70s Afrofunk, and a nice political anthem to boot. It IS a secret — I also like Cody ChesnuTT’s song, “Serve This Royalty Right” (cat’s out of the bag now). Generally speaking, I try not to publicize my appreciation for songs I find degrading towards women. Sometimes the music is just undeniably good and I have to get past my inner feminist. Sorry ladies. On a related note, I’ve been hearing rumors that some angry feminists are planning to vote for McCain as a “fuck you” to democrats for not supporting Hillary. Really?! That has to be the most asinine idea ever. Haven’t you heard? McCain wants to overturn Roe v. Wade. Don’t cut your nose to spite your face (is that the right expression?).
